Meet Nigel

Little Nigel is available for adoption! This tiny, 8 lb. guy is a bit on the shy side. Having lived with one family for all of his 3 years, he is a bit of a scaredy-dog when it comes to new things.

When he first came into his foster home, he would hide under the table or in his bed in a crate. Within 2 days though he was venturing out and hopping up into his foster mom's lap for naps or into his foster dad's arms to be carried around.
When new people visit, he chooses to run upstairs and observe from afar.

Nigel is excellent with dogs and cats. Although he doesn't engage in play with them, he is friendly. Nigel doesn't really know how to play but he is eager to learn. A confident doggie sibling could be a great teacher.

A quiet boy, Nigel is perfect for apartment living. A home without children would be ideal. Pee-pad trained, Nigel is working on becoming fully housebroken with the help of his foster parents. He is hoping to find a patient, loving home where he will be given the time he needs to feel safe and secure.

Ring in the new year with this bundle of joy!

Nigel is neutered, and will be microchipped and up to date on vaccines before adoption.

Nigel is being fostered in Worcester MA.

The adoption fee is $ 350.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label
