Nico’s Story: Nico and his siblings were surrendered to JCCARE by their owner who could no longer take care of them. Nico’s owner wanted the best for him and knew JCCARE would go to great lengths to find him a loving forever home.

Health: Nico is a healthy boy, he’s up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and recently had a dental. He loves his food and treats and has a great appetite and and despite what you see about his size he is not really overweight, just a large chin. Since Nico is so fond of food, his family will need to manage his weight in order to prevent adding additional pounds.

Temperament: Nico is a sweet boy who can be a bit shy at first but loves playing with his foster mother’s herd and warms quickly to people.

My Ideal Home: Nico is a sweet boy who will do well in a home with one or more additional dogs, but has not been tested with cats. Nico is a sweet cuddle bug but also loves to spend time laying in one of the beds around the house as he observes what's going on; when it's bedtime, Nico sleeps next to his foster Mom’s bed. Nico is a very laid back boy with a sweet and gentle manner but occasionally gets the zoomies for a few minutes and chases around with the rest of the dogs. He loves to be petted and is happy just relaxing and chilling out in his bed. A home without children younger than 10 years old is preferred. He is a lovely sable boy so don’t miss out on him, he is a sweetheart.
