Nicholas! German Shepherd Dog Mix Leon, KS

This boy came to Hickory Hollow about 6 months ago all the way from Oklahoma! Nicholas was first found as a stray with wire wrapped around his snout. An animal shelter in Oklahoma had treated him and adopted him out, but the adopter rehomed him due to Nicholas being too energetic for the owner's current dog. After that Nicholas ended up on the streets and that’s when he was brought to us.

He is dog friendly and cat friendly. He is VERY energetic and has a tendency to jump on you and even nip at your clothes but we have been working with him and he’s doing much better! Nicholas has never shown any signs of aggression. He’s still very young, around 1 year old & we think he is some kind of shepherd mix, so he will be about medium to large size when he is full grown! After Nicholas has warmed up to you & he knows he can relax, all he wants are pets and kisses, and he will reciprocate your love.

Nicholas would love to be in a home with dogs or cats, or both! He has not been around children recently, but because of his high energy and need to go, go, go, he would be amazing in a home with no small children. Nicholas is neutered, and is up to date on vaccinations.
