Nex Jindo Mix Long Island City, NY

Anybody else love tuxedo pups like Nex?! He’s a male mini Jindo mix that’s 3 years old and weighs about 26 pounds. We rescued him from the Aeriwon shelter in Korea and now he’s made it to NYC for adoption! Nex’s known for being sweet, calm, curious, and sensitive. He likes exploring the park, learning new tricks, and relaxing near his foster. While he’s still deciding if he likes toys, he does know that he LOVES bully sticks and all kinds of treats. Nex’s potty training and crate training are going well, which is great news! His foster says that he’s got “the peppiest pep in his step” that almost looks like he’s jamming out to a song. Nex will do best with a patient adopter that can help him continue to build his confidence around strangers. Are you ready for Nex? Apply to adopt!

Meet our adoptable pups! In compliance with NYC Phase 4 re-opening (www1.nyc.gov/), we will have an in-person meet and greet and Livestream event on Saturday, April 10th @ Mika Café in Bushwick (25 Thames St, Brooklyn). The event will be held at the outdoor event space from 11:30 am – 3 pm. This will be an opportunity where you can meet the dogs in person from a safe social distance.

This is not an adoption event; potential adopters will be able to watch the Livestream, learn about each dog's personality, and then meet/greet and observe the dogs from a safe social distance behind their playpens. Your brief questions will be answered, and if you are interested in adopting, an adoption application can be filled out online before or after this event. Our adoption radius is now within 30 miles of the following locations: NYC, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Western & Eastern CT. You must be able to pick up the dog at our office in Astoria, Queens (no exceptions). You must wear a mask and practice safe social distancing when traveling and picking up the dog.
