Neo Pit Bull Terrier Mix Christiansburg, VA

Neo is a petite 7-month-old male who just wants to be loved and be with his people. He is a little timid/submissive, but is gaining in confidence every day. He wants nothing more than to snuggle up with you and get an unlimited supply of belly rubs. But he's also excited to go outside and romp with other dogs. Cats are NOT recommended due to his prey drive.

Neo is already crate-trained and working on being fully housebroken. He will try to tell you he needs to go out, but still has the occasional accident if you aren't paying close attention. He's very calm in the house and loves his bones. We are learning how much fun toys can be and he is adorable when he hops down the hallway and pounces on a toy!

Neo has been started on basic obedience, but will need someone willing to put more time and energy into continuing his education. He is so eager to learn and very food motivated! He is a huge people-pleaser.

Recently, Neo went to a car show in Salem where he was the star of the show. The occasional loud noise would startle him, but otherwise, he was running up to anyone who would give him attention and introducing himself. Thankfully, he was quite polite and didn't jump on anyone. He even gave small children gentle kisses if they wanted them. Neo also got to enjoy a 3-hour kayaking trip and learn about water. He doesn't seem to be a huge fan of swimming quite yet, but he rode in the kayak like a champ and seemed happy to be with people and outside. He even rides great in the car for all his new adventures!
