Nemo American Staffordshire Terrier & Labrador Retriever Mix Highland, MD

Hi, I’m Nemo! I am approximately a one year old sweet lab, pit mix. I am recovering from being hit by a car, but I’m feeling much better now and my doctors say I should be fine in a few more weeks. I am house trained, crate trained, and am learning some basic commands. I have been a good boy while my activity is restricted, but I am a young, energetic pup and I am looking forward to running and playing! I have to walk with a harness due to my injuries, and I am pretty strong, so I might need some practice with walking nicely on a leash once my activity restrictions are lifted. I am currently sharing my foster home with cats - I usually leave them alone, but sometimes I try to get them to play with me, so I would do best with dog-savvy cats. There’s also a dog in my foster home - we can’t play until I’m completely healed, so I have only met her briefly, but I think I would like to have another dog as a friend. I am a friendly, outgoing pup who has loved every person I meet. I enjoy toys, treats, food puzzles, and cuddling on the couch.
