Meet Nelson
From a volunteer: Nelson was only able to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon with us at the Archeological Survey, but we could tell that he is a wonderful dog and has a great temperament. He is a very well-behaved dog, quiet, calm, and friendly. Nelson loved to go outside and walks nicely on a leash. He loves treats and will sit when commanded to do so. Nelson was a great office dog and very content to sleep directly behind me while I worked. I can't image he wouldn't be fun to take on a hike, run, or to the dog park though. Nelson liked the ride over to the Archeological survey and snuggled against my shoulder and ear. So, he is a lovable guy. I am not sure how he is with other dogs. We there was no time today to visit any of our canine friends over at the Biological Survey. Nelson has that great Lab personality. I can't image he wouldn't be great fit for a family with children.
