Nellie was once abandoned and left behind. Thankfully a nice home owner took good care of her as her 2 friends were safely being held by animal control (Maya and Missy who we took in as well), Nellie was not able to be caught as she was too scared. She was unexpectedly caught in a foot trap (thankfully unharmed) and brought to us! She is starting to come out of her shell by doing play bows and wanting to have fun. She would most likely be happiest with another dog in the home as they bring her comfort and confidence.
