Nellie is a female 1 yr old brown standard poodle, 52 lbs of bounce and fun and tons of love. Nellie is very affectionate and sweet and enthusiastic about every moment of the day. When you think of a dignified/aloof poodle, she is the complete opposite. She makes friends easily and likes to get wet and dirty. She would love a very active owner who will make her a part of every adventure. She loves fetch and playing with toys, running and having a good time. She knows basic commands but will need a refresher as she is easily distracted and she does pull on the leash so a strong owner is a must. While she loves children, she is boisterous, so either older children or those that are super dog savy and not scared at all. While Nellie likes other dogs, she is very submissive with large dogs and being submissive makes her do some submissive peeing... so it would be best if she goes to a home with a dog that is not too dominant and an owner willing to work with submissive peing and confidence building.
We will be selective in finding her forever home as she is very special, so please dont get offended if your application is not selected for her.
This dog is not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please do not apply.

We do not have a shelter so individual appointments must be made to meet the pet you are interested in. Our pets are fostered/boarded all over LA and Orange County.
Before adoption she will be altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had a brief temperament evaluation to help us determine what type of a home he/she would thrive in. Please note that we put lots of time and effort to make sure our pets are ready to be someone's perfect pet before they go home.... and to make sure that we will have the best possible match for this pet we do require an : application, interview, adoption fee and in some case a home check.
