MUST LIVE IN ROCHESTER, NY AREA TO ADOPT and have a physically fenced in yard for him to play in.

Neko ( Pronounced Nee-Ko) was born 03/15/20, and is a old Scottish terrier mixed with Staffie which gives him his quirky build and wiry fur. He has basic training down (sit, lay, no) is completely potty trained and is crate trained. He is not altered at this time and because of that he will be adopted under a FTA agreement until his neuter. He gets along great with his foster fur siblings big and small but kids and cats are an unknown. He loves to snuggle and cuddle and if you’re looking for a dog that doesn’t understand personal space bubbles, here he is! His motto is “if I fits I sits!” He loves playing outside with his squeakiest toys and will play fetch all day long. He’s not fantastic on a leash yet but he’s making progress.
He will be going to his adoptive home under a foster to adopt contract until his neuter is complete. You would be required to get him into our vet clinic for 7:30 am date TBD, in Rochester and then pick up (3 to 4 pm) from rescue to finalize adoption at that time. For this reason we will not adopt to anyone outside our immediate adoption area. We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.
