4 ½ month old, 30-pound Retriever / Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix
House-Training: Nativity has the occasional accident but has made such progress! A little more time and training and she will be there.
Crate-Training: She spends the night in her crate and a few hours each day. She takes a couple of minutes to get settled but then is great!
Other Dogs: Nativity does well with the resident dog and other dogs she has met. Slow intros have been awesome, especially when the dogs are bigger than her. She adjusts and warms up quickly and then loves to play.
Cats: Nativity is curious about the resident cat and has been respectful of cat’s space.
Kids: She has not had a lot of exposure to kids, but we think she would do just fine.
Nativity is full of energy and loves to play! Nativity would thrive in an active household or one with another dog that is playful. Once she is tired out, she loves to cuddle and use her human(s) as a pillow while they work from home or watch TV.
She is still learning leash manners; so many exciting distractions and things to smell while on walks! One of the things she does not love on walks is loud street noises. Nativity would be fine living in a home with shared walls as long as she was able to have daily activity and exercise.
Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.
Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
