Nanita Rottweiler Patterson, NY

Nanita is a gentle, affectionate 3 year old girl who was surrendered to a shelter in Florida with a botched c-section. She had a massive infection in her abdomen from it and her owner thought it was easier to just dump her than take her to a vet. We immediately hospitalized her until she was healthy again.

Nanita is fostered with other Rotties and is comfortable with all of them. He favorite is Rocco who is wrestling with her in the video. 

Nanita needs slow introductions with new people. She prefers to be allowed to approach the person at her pace than for the person to swoop in and overwhelm her. A few treats work wonders. 

?This pretty girl would do best in a calm, quiet home. Unexpected movements startle her, but she also shows a lot of confidence once she has settled in and developed trust. At that point, she enjoys cuddling and being a fun companion.
