Nana Belgian Shepherd / Malinois Mix North Hollywood, CA

Hi I'm Nana! I'm a 1.5 year old, Belgian Malinois. I am young and energetic, and will need an adopter who can truly provide the right amount of exercise and adventures in my daily life!

- I unfortunately came from an abusive and traumatic past, so I am still very very shy at first and I can get frightened easily.

- Despite my past I am an energetic, loving, cuddly and loyal girl! I am VERY active and will need an adopter who can provide the correct amount of outdoor activity for me throughout the day, every day. Apartment life will not do for me unfortunately.

- I love other dogs, am learning to coexist with cats, AND even chilling with the pigs who live in my current foster home.

- Because of my shyness, I will need to be adopted out to a family who has another playful doggo, so I can learn from them and play all day! Please do not apply for me if you do not have another confident dog in the home.

- I still need some time to start trusting men again as I am still very fearful of them. However, I have been working on that with my foster family by receiving meals, going on walks, and even getting gentle cuddles from my foster dad.

- Once I feel safe, I am an absolute joy and a total goofball!

My ideal home would have:
- Another dog to learn from, play with, and build up my confidence
- A large space and yard to run around in
- A very active owner with time dedicated to me
- No young children who could possibly frighten me
