MY STORY
Well hello there everyone! What a pleasure it is to meet all of you! I am really excited to share my story with you today! I came into rescue after I found myself in the shelter. How and why, I am not sure. What I do know though, is that I started a new chapter of my life when this rescue came to me! Whatever happened to me before, is now in the past. I am focusing on my future, and hopefully it will include YOU in it! ?
ABOUT ME
My name is Nana and I am a 5 year old female Great Pyrenees. I currently weigh about 106lbs, so I am a very big girl! Don't let my size fool you though, because I am one of the biggest teddy bears around! Here is what my foster says about me
"Nana is a sweetheart. She enjoys being loved on, napping, and being outside. She is low to moderate energy level dog. She loves kids and all the attention they give her. Nana loves people of all ages.
Nana is potty trained, safe to give the run of the house, and great on a leash. She enjoys car rides and will sit and shake for treats. Nana does well with other dogs. However, if you already have an alpha she will not back down. Nana is your typical Great Pyr who is lovable and enjoys barking when outside or hears other dogs. Nana would be a great addition to a family who wants a snuggle companion."
I am pretty calm when it comes to meeting new people. I also don't jump on people. My foster has not had a chance to take me to any public outings but given my personality I think I would do fine. I have a pretty calm and laid back personality but can be playful at times as well. I have not attempted to chew on anything, and am potty trained. I can be vocal when I am outside, so hopefully my family will have neighbors that won't mind. As of right now, I am have not played with any toys or attempted to play fetch. I am not sure if I am a water dog or not. I walk great on a leash and love going for walks! I also love going on road trips! I am potty trained, but not kennel trained. When no one is home I am given free roam of the house and do excellent.
WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN MY NEW HOME
I am good with other dogs and cats. I have been around children that are school age and have done well. I have not been around any real young kiddos. I am pretty indifferent to the other dogs, but can be playful at times.
I would be great in a home with or without other dogs. I would also do great in a home with kiddos. Overall, I am looking for a home that is on the calmer side and looking for a super sweet snuggle bug!

My adoption fee is $225 and that will include my vaccinations, spay, and micro-chip. I will also be current on heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.

*We only adopt out of state if the new adoptive family is willing to pick their new dog up. We do not send them on transports or ship them.
