Meet Nala!
Meet Nala, a 9-month-old female German Shepherd/Pyrenees mix, born on January 21, 2023. Nala is a loving and sweet puppy who enjoys starting her foster parents' day with morning kisses and cuddles in bed. She's spayed and up to date on all vaccines, ensuring her health and well-being.

Nala is currently undergoing private training lessons to perfect her leash walking skills and work on her prey drive, showing her dedication to becoming the best furry companion she can be. She has been a part of her current family since April and has a special bond with them. Nala's love extends to playing with other dogs and kids, making her a joyful addition to any family.

She eagerly anticipates doggy daycare and car rides, embracing new adventures with enthusiasm. Nala is an adventurous spirit who enjoys long hikes and outdoor play. During the day when no one is home, she's content to be gated in one room, displaying her well-behaved nature.

Nala is a social butterfly with a friendly disposition. She has no aggression towards anyone and loves meeting new people. However, it's important to note that she has a high prey drive, which means she may chase and catch small dogs and animals if allowed to run free. Nala is great with bigger dogs but has not been exposed to cats.

For Nala, a family with a large yard or a farm would be an ideal fit, allowing her to expend her energy and enjoy her adventurous spirit. With her loving personality and energetic nature, Nala could be the perfect addition to a family ready to provide her with the love and space she needs to thrive.

Adoption available in the Rochester and Buffalo area as pup is currently in Buffalo area. We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
