Meet Nala`
Nala is a 5-7 year old female Great Pyrenees. She weighs 117 lbs. Nala is very gentle and can be walked on a leash just using your pinky! Unfortunately, she tested positive for Lyme disease and Erlichia. Both are tick borne. She has started her treatment of 30 days of Doxycycline. Nala is heartworm negative. She was adopted over the weekend and returned for having jealousy issues towards their smaller dog. If you have another dog in the family, a meet and greet is required. Nala is a wonderful girl and we sure would love to see her in a home for the holidays!
All dogs up for adoption are spayed or neutered and are heart-worm tested and will be up-to-date on Distemper/Parvo, Kennel Cough and Rabies vaccinations. We also treat for worms and ear mites as well as flea and tick preventative. An adoption donation of $165.00 covers a small portion of getting the dogs and puppies ready for adoption.
We welcome visitors Tuesday evenings 4-7 p.m. Saturday mornings 9 a.m. to noon. Sundays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You may also schedule an appointment at a time that is more convenient for your schedule. Call 217-322-2220 if you have any questions or concerns.
