Nala's Story
Meet Nala, our miracle girl. Some of you may remember her story from early July—she was at risk of euthanasia, but thanks to the incredible support of our community, we were able to raise the funds for her boarding and give her the second chance she truly deserved. Now she’s healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever family.

Nala is a two-year-old American Bulldog mix weighing about 45 lbs. She is a gentle, affectionate dog who thrives on human interaction and absolutely adores children. She loves to be the center of attention and will happily accept belly rubs, hugs, and plenty of playtime. While she is generally calm, she has her bursts of energy and enjoys games like tug-of-war and fetch.

Nala is crate trained (though she needs a little encouragement to go in), rides well in the car, and is picking up training quickly. She walks nicely on leash but can get excited when she sees squirrels and would benefit from ongoing leash and recall training. With consistency and structure, she is going to be an outstanding companion.

She is best suited to a home with no cats, as they make her nervous. Nala is dog-friendly with proper introductions, though she does best with calmer dogs. She has a sensitive stomach and possible allergies, but she is finishing her medications and responding well.

Her ideal family will have experience with bully or power breeds and the time to provide her with continued training and exercise. A yard would be a bonus, as she loves to run and play, but what Nala truly needs most is love, structure, and a place to call home.

Nala’s journey has already been filled with so much hope and support. Now she just needs a forever family to complete her story. Could it be you?
