MYSTIC Boxer & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Tucson, AZ

A Mystic is all seeing and all knowing but in this case, not all- hearing, because our Mystic happens to be deaf. Don't worry though- deaf dogs are still normal, trainable dogs who make great companions!! During a short adoption, we learned that Mystic is housebroken and did well with another resident dog. His adopter described him as very affectionate and sweet. Here's what some of his volunteer friends have said too: I LOVE walking Mystic! He is a super duper fun dog. He is such a sweet, happy boy. We went to the picnic benches to practice some cues, and he was so quick to look and sit calmly for treats. Loved to sniff for treats, and he did a good job watching and following my hand to jump onto the bench, table, and back over again. Mystic will make his future family very happy! Mystic was great in the yard today! He seems to be very smart and also wants to please. He knows the sign for sit and does it every time, he gets a thumb up as reward, and then a treat of course. He was very engaged in the obedience work and seemed to enjoy it. He also enjoyed getting petted and would lean into me. Gorgeous dog with lots of potential! Mystic has shared his kennel with a variety of roommates while in the shelter and was social and playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Hes a people- oriented guy who enjoys playing in the water. Hed like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure its a good fit and may do best in a home without young kiddos.
