Meet Yoda PUPDATE

PUPDATE: Yoda gets along with everyone! Just updated with a video of him playing with one of our long time residents Valkyrie. Note there is two other dogs in the play yard with him playing.

From the previous owner:
Myles now Yoda has been returned as they were moving and could not take him along. He has grown into such a nice big boy!
He seems to be afraid of strange men but warms up to women. When left at home alone he sleeps or if he's bored he will dig. He knows how to sit, stay, down, come, heel and high five. He does not have any issues with chewing inappropriate things or being destructive. He is house trained and crate trained. The previous owner say it would be best if he had a large yard or another dog and or kids to play with to keep him busy. He is brushed weekly and does not mind it until you get to his rear end. Does not like his nails trimmed. He went on daily walks from 1/2 mile-1 mile long. He is good with kids. Wants to play. Does great with other household animals. Visitors have brought their dog to their house and he does great with them. He warms up to all dogs and does great with puppies. When a dog approaches him on a walk on a leash or off he smells them and wants to play. He gets along with all breeds and sizes. His favorite pet spots are his head and belly. He likes playing, running with other dogs. He wont take a ball or toy from another dog. If another dog approaches his food or toy, he will just give it up. He sleeps inside the house either in his kennel with the door open or besides the bed or on the owners bed. He has not been allowed on furniture. Does have problems with digging if he gets bored. He is afraid and timid around cats, and he leaves them alone. Sounds like the perfect dog doesn't he??

Yoda is such a big ol goof. He seems to get along with other dogs. He was introduced to two since being back and is in the play yards with them sometimes. Doesn't matter if they are males or females. He loves to play. But he likes smelly treats more than playing so he did not let me get good pics of him standing up. He doesn't seem afraid of strangers. Very friendly. One of our kennel techs has his mother and she is just as friendly. They did a DNA test on her. I will post those results soon.

Myles was born here at our shelter on Nov 29, 2021 after his mom came in as a stray very pregnant. There was 9 pups in the litter
