Meet Murphy! He's 47 lbs and around 3 years old. This handsome, gentle soul may be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, you’ll quickly see what a sweet and affectionate boy he truly is. Look at that face — who could resist? Murphy is an eager-to-please companion, smart, loyal, and, yes, a total glutton for love. If you’re into giving cheek scratches, he’s your guy!
Murphy loves to play, especially with his best stuffed alligator buddy, and has a great time rolling around in the yard. He’s crate-trained, housebroken, and gets along well with other dogs. He’s also a champ on walks — he’s getting better on a leash every day and will stroll calmly past other pups without a peep. In fact, the presence of other dogs helps Murphy feel more comfortable and is a great way to show him how to truly be a dog. Watching and interacting with his canine friends helps him come out of his shell and build confidence.
Curious and alert outdoors, Murphy enjoys exploring the backyard, but indoors, he’s a calm and quiet presence, happy to relax and soak up some love.
