Introducing Mumsy, a 3 and a half year old pittie mix with a heart full of love and a story of resilience. Rescued from another shelter just days before giving birth, Mumsy welcomed eight beautiful pups into the world and has proven to be a dedicated and loving mama. Now that her puppies are growing and finding their forever homes, Mumsy is also ready to find her forever home.

Mumsy is crate and potty trained, finding comfort in her cozy crate during the day when her foster family isn't home. Mumsy will quietly let you know she has to go potty with a little whimper, and will perk up her ears if you say "Do you have to go potty?". She also knows basic commands like "sit", "down", and is working on "stay". She loves learning new things especially when a treat is involved. Mumsy is eager to please and willing to learn all that she can.

Mumsy absolutely adores toys, especially squeaky ones, and has the most adorable way of pouncing on them during playtime. She is always up for a fun romp around the house and enjoys playing with other dogs. Mumsy is always up for a walk and doesn't necessarily need a fenced yard, but if you have one, it should be secured with a 6ft fence because she's a curious explorer at heart.

After a fun-filled day, Mumsy is all about some quality downtime, enjoying a cozy nap or just chilling with her humans. Mumsy is the most gentle soul you will ever meet and is wonderful with children of all ages. She'd thrive in a home with other dogs, though a meet and greet is required to ensure everyone gets along.
