Meet Muffin
Muffin is an adorable and affectionate 4-year-old bulldog who attaches to her people quickly, especially if they give her belly rubs. She loves her morning walks—and is happiest when she gets that exercise, even just for 10 minutes a day. She is doing well with potty-training and is fully crate trained at night. She does occasionally have accidents in the house, and she will pee on rugs, towels, or blankets (or any soft material) left on the floor, so she will need someone who is patient, and can help her continue to practice her potty skills. This help can come in the form of another dog, too, as Muffin loves her canine companions, and even sleeps in a crate with her current best friend. She is completely fine with cats as well.
Like many bulldogs, and mill rescues, Muffin has her quirks. She sometimes gets scared when people approach her quickly and/or try to pull on her collar, which can result in her nipping the air. Attaching a leash and directing her to where you need her to go, solves this issue. Muffin has also shown fear of very young children, so it would be best if she was placed in a home with children 10 or older. Finally, Muffin sometimes growls at men, and balls or circular objects, when she is afraid.
If you love bulldogs, enjoy cuddles, and are willing to work with Muffin on her eccentricities, the wait will be worth it with her. She’s a true love bug looking for her forever home.
Adoption fee is $450
