Meet Mudge: 11 weeks old, Australian Shepherd mix, 16 pounds.

Mudge had a rough start to life after he and his siblings had to be bottle fed until they were strong enough to be placed into rescue. Mudge is so sweet and playful and after all his siblings have been adopted, Mudge is more than ready to find his forever home too!

Mudge's foster says he is a big snuggle bug and he is doing great with house breaking! He is a gentle little guy and even gets along with his foster's cats!

$150 Adoption Fee.

Along with a thoroughly evaluated application, a fenced yard is required to adopt. Please see our "Fenced Yard Requirements" tab on our website for more information.

Puppies are dewormed, started on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped.

All puppies are given age appropriate vaccines by Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue. Adopters will be responsible for obtaining any remaining puppy vaccines after adoption.

Puppy adopters MUST BE within a one hour radius of Cincinnati. Their spay/neuter will be done locally at one of our approved vets when they reach the appropriate age. This is included with their adoption and all PPAR pets must be spayed/neutered. No exceptions. Along with our regular adoption contract which can be viewed on our website, a puppy vaccine/spay/neuter contract will also be signed at the time of adoption.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
