Mr. Stripes Cane Corso Aurora, CO

Mr. Stripes is a super handsome, 1 yr old fawn brindle colored Cane Corso boy who was owner surrendered to a local animal control with his brother King because they were escaping the yard and their owner wasn't interested in fixing the issue. Stripes wasn't well socialized so being dumped at animal control was stressful for him however the shelter staff worked hard with him to build trust and made good progress. The shelter was affected by Tropical Storm Imelda and they were out of room and space. Stripes also needed more one on one so they reached out to us to help him and we are happy to do so. Stripes is described as being laid back and generally calm, loud noises are a little scary for him and he does have cherry eye that will we will be having fixed. Stripes' foster family will be working with this guy to help him learn about living indoors, basic commands and working on building his confidence and positive socialization. We can't wait to see this guy blossom and he's already relaxing and decompressing and we can update his bio once we get to know him a little more.
