This gentle giant is now healthy, curious, and energetic and weights about 70 lbs and is likely a year old. His beginnings were rough - he wondered into foster mom's yard some time ago, appearing lost, and not in good shape. He was suffering from malnutrition and dehydration.

Duke is now a house dog, and is crate trained, but loves to be on night watch when given the opportunity; he patrols our yard and alerts us to any happenings around. This boy has a great appetite and learns quick, and most of all, he loves to snuggle! He thinks he is a little lap dog.

Duke gets along with most dogs, and tolerates our car (he never bothers her). He travels well for someone new to car rides but will need more practice, for sure.

This boy is fully vetted and ready to a family of his own. Are you ready to meet him and welcome him into your heart? He is ready.
