Mr Darcy's Story

My littermate and I were abandoned in a rural area. The rescue does not know what my parents look like or how big they are, but it is suspected that I will be around 30 pounds when full grown. <br/>I can be shy at first, but I really love people and am a very good-natured puppy. I like toys and treats and jump around when I'm really excited. <br/>I would do best in a home that is willing to help work on my confidence around new things. Due to my age, I will need further work on housebreaking and crate training.

Faithful Friends Pet Rescue and Rehoming's Adoption Policy

We are setting up adoptions with approved adopters on an appointment basis during this COVID-19 crisis. We are no longer hosting adoption events at PetSmart until further notice. We are not arranging meet and greets; but appointments to finalize adoptions to limit exposure for all. Our adoptions come with a one week trial period in which if things are not working out, we will refund your adoption fee if you decide to return your newly adopted Faithful Friend. Our adoptions must be done in person at PetSmart (3736 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville, FL 32608) and we do not arrange transport to adopters. Our adoption fees vary and we are only able to accept payments by card at this time but include spay/neuter, heartworm test (dogs), FeLV/FIV test (cats), age appropriate vaccines and deworming, flea, tick and heartworm medication and microchip.
