Meet Mr. Buster Brown
******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************
We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.
Mr. Buster Brown, 2 years old, neutered male, Staffordshire Terrier mix, 67 pounds. He is in a foster home in HOUSTON, TEXAS and can transport to an approved adopter out of state.
Meet Buster Brown (aka Butter Brown or Buster)…..dumped in a Houston neighborhood and taken to the shelter where he was saved in the nick of time by his foster mom.
She says he’s the most loving guy and just wants to be by his human almost 24/7. Although he is somewhat a velcro dog, he also enjoys his kennel and makes no fuss when he’s there for the work day or the night (when the human wants her bed to herself)
He loves car rides! He loves doggy day care and playing with other dogs!
At his foster home he’s the only animal so he’s good at entertaining himself as well.
Buster loves his walks! Currently he gets 2 walks a day, 1 lap around the block suits him just fine. He also knows how to get his energy out in the back yard and likes to make zoomie laps when he gets the urge.
He’s great with baths in the shower or the hose outside.
He’s learned to use a gentle leader which is advised as he can be pull on the leash at times…but we’ve come a long way with this.
Buster Brown also lets you dress him up in sweaters and pitty pajamas for fun family pics! He will make one lucky family very happy!
