Meet Mozart

I’m Mozart, a male salt and pepper Schnauzer/Australian shepherd mix who is about two years old and weighs about fifty-three pounds with natural ears and a docked tail. The shelter contacted SRT and asked if they could help me. They suspect I was shot in the leg. It was pretty nasty. SRT immediately came and took me to the vet. There was no way to save the leg, so I had to have it amputated. I’ll be recovering for about two weeks and then will be ready for my forever home. I’m good with other dogs and appear to be house trained and have been quiet so far in my temporary foster home. I’ll have a spa day when my stitches are removed.
