Meet Moxie - UPDATE - Kitchener
MOXIE is doing exceptionally well in his foster home. He is proving to be a fantastic, fun, happy, responsive, highly intelligent and loving pup who is a playful, happy go-lucky boy and friendly with people.... very energetic and would gladly play all day with respectful and dog savvy children! He is proving great with kids, very affectionate with foster dad's grand kids, greets other dogs politely....Moxie is a little prince! He is getting walked 3-4 times a day and absolutely loves going for walks, he is also happy to get home.
MOXIE needs lots of walks, exercise and play time to keep mentally and physically stimulated! He is not a couch potato! MOXIE loves his walks, especially in a natural area where there are trails through the woods with lots of interesting smells.
MOXIE would be happy with another young dog who is just as playful as he is, but an active family is also needed. He is an affectionate boy who enjoys attention and pats from his people, but loves to chase a ball, and especially loves a good walk.
MOXIE know several commands..... leave it, wait, quiet, down, sit, ball ...and others. He loves to please his people and is very willing to learn what the world has to offer this amazing companion dog.

If you have a securely fenced yard and are interested in adopting MOXIE or any of our dogs, the first step is to complete an Adoption Application at www.sosr.ca/apply-to-adopt so that we can determine whether you are a good match for one of the dogs. If we have a possible match, you would then have a telephone interview, speak to the foster mom, have home visit by one of our volunteers and vet reference check. Once you have been approved for adoption you can then meet the dog at his foster home. At that time, if you would like to have him as a new family member, you would complete the adoption paperwork and take him home.
