Mowgli American Bulldog & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Sophia, NC

Meet Mowgli
He is a 2 year old, 55.0 pound Pit mix. He was taken to the shelter as a stray by one of the animal control officers and was never reclaimed. Snowflake is a happy-go-lucky boy that loves going on adventures and meeting new people. Mowgli also shared a kennel with several other dogs during his stay at the shelter and quickly made friends with each one and he is in a foster home now with several dogs. He loves his doggy friends! Mowgli walks on a leash with and will occasionally sit for a treat! He has seen the vet and has had his shots and a checkup. Unfortunately he is heart worm positive and why he was going to be euthanized at the shelter. We just couldn’t let that happen to this sweet boy who is always smiling. He will be neutered and start treatment for his heart worms and the rescue pays for everything including his preventives for one and and until he retests negative. He is faint positive so he doesn’t have any heart or lung damage and no issues related to his status. Please don’t be scared away due to his heart worms! You would never know he was positive except for the test. They are not contagious, treatable and is a super dog! One of the best we have had in awhile s please give Mowgli a chance!
