Moses Black Labrador Retriever & Shepherd Mix Scranton, PA

Moses was recently rescued from a high kill, southern shelter after being surrendered by his owner who could no longer care for him. He was brought in with his mom and he was a bit on the shy side. Moses is just about a year old now. He has come a long way but he will be much happier when we can get him out of the shelter and into a loving home. Moses weighs about 50 lbs. and is listed as a Lab/Shepherd mix. Moses has a lot of energy and will need a home where he can get attention and guidance. He is very playful and he loves people and other dogs. We are not sure how he would react to cats at this time but caution should be taken when introducing any new dog to resident cats.
Moses has recently been treated for heart-worm disease and is well on the road to recovery. He is past his "restricted activity" period and ready to travel to PA. Moses has already been neutered and he is up-to-date with his vaccinations. He is also micro-chipped. This sweet pup's suggested adoption donation is $350 to help recover some of the cost of vetting. He will be looking to find a foster, or a "forever" home on Sunday, Sept. 26th. We will not adopt a dog to you if all of your current pets are not spayed/neutered. This is a non-negotiable policy. All cats and dogs MUST be up-to-date with their rabies vaccinations, including indoor only cats.
