Morrissey Yorkshire Terrier Mix Charlotte, NC

Morrissey is an 8 month old Yorkshire Terrier mix who weighs about 9 pounds. Morrissey was a neglected puppy, but he is adjusting well in a steady foster home, which includes two older Shih Tzus. They don't care for his puppy play, but he loves other dogs. He has befriended the neighbor's puppy and they play for hours. He is young, so he has some learning to do. He likes to roll and just lay in the grass. He also enjoys snuggling on a blanket and laying close to his human. He is quite a little lover. His legs are bowed in, which the vet thinks is because of poor nutrition. He has been getting plenty of food, exercise, and love, which is helping his muscles to develop. He will even go for a 2 mile walk! He is lively and wants to be loved.

We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
