Morkie Maltese & Yorkshire Terrier Mix Palatine, IL

NOTE: Spike and Morkie are bonded and must be adopted together.

Morkie is a distinguished Maltese/Yorkie mix who weighs only 10 pounds. And at 12 years old, Morkie has learned a few things over the years. He understands that shoes are not for chewing, squirrels are better when ignored, and that the best way to stay in shape is through a good game of fetch. Morkie knows sit and go potty, and is working on scratching at the door when he needs a potty break.

When inside, Morkie enjoys cuddling, belly rubs, and a lap to curl up on. He is friendly toward adults, kids, and other dogs. He doesn’t even mind sharing his toys! Morkie is a sweet little fella with lots of spunk. He is looking for a family who will give him ample attention and continue keeping him in shape by playing fetch and taking walks around the neighborhood.
