Meet Morgan in CT - The Leader of the Pack :)

Morgan would love to be your princess! This young girl is not only smart and confident, but a very kind young lady. She is very sweet with the older dogs in her foster home and wants to take care of them :) She gets along great playing with other dogs, but has the independence to entertain herself. From a young age she was always the first out playing with a ball or any toy, having a good time! Morgan is too good to be true for a such a young girl. She is great with the cats and her foster mom describes her as having the PYRfect Pyr temperament. She will grow to be one of those very kind dogs who is a leader – she knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to ask! Morgan is gentle enough to be placed with children raised with large breed dogs. She enjoys being outside so will need a secure fenced yard that she can patrol to keep an eye on things. Morgan is housetrained and would love to go on long walks with and enjoy being pampered by her people. If you have a love of Great Pyrenees, this smart, confident Pyr girl is ready to fulfil your dreams and be your princess!

Please fill out the application on our website www.nationalpyr.org and we will contact you. Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. Puppies are ready to join their fur-ever homes at 11 weeks old and will not be adopted in pairs. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
