Meet the sweetest boy ever, Moose! Moose joined our rescue after he found himself at our local municipal shelter where he ended up as a neglected stray. Moose needed to leave the shelter with a rescue due to medical issues which included scaring from pressure sores on his skin (has likely never laid in a dog bed before), eye goo from entropian (he has had surgery with us) Heartworm positive (has been treated) none other than being a senior. Since being in or care, all of his medical needs have been addressed and he is medically cleared. Moose would absolutely LOVE a forever home as he enters into his golden years. He is truly such an amazing soul and we hope someone out there will overlook his scars from past neglect. Moose is dog friendly with both big and little dogs and is great with every person he meets, kids included and wow is he great with kids! Moose is house broken, crate trained, and a go with the flow fella. He is SO happy to receive love and attention and will even get dressed up in dog clothes. He adores belly rubs and is such a gem. Anyone who adopts him would be considered the lucky ones. Moose is estimated to be 8-9 years old and is 70-75lbs.
