Meet Moose
Moose is a Courtesy Posting for friends of ours who run an all-breed rescue. This big, 97 pound boy is 2 to 3 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
Moose's trainer shared that he is extremely affectionate and loves attention. He is also very food motivated which is a big plus in motivating and rewarding him. If you were to ask Moose his favorite activities, he would tell you walks and playtime, but that after exercise he enjoys plopping down and hanging out. Moose loves to please! Moose's trainer will happily share Moose's repertoire once a Meet is scheduled.
Moose has spent the last month in a foster home who has worked with him on house training and getting used to being in a house - he’s done great and is super affectionate and now housetrained. He did test positive for Heartworm when he was first rescued but is mid-way through the heartworm treatment. His adopter will be asked to finish up the treatment with the full expense covered by the rescue. It’s not complicated and it will be clearly explained...just a trip to the vet followed by temporarily reduced exercise.
So if you want an affectionate companion, this beauty is going to be worth it. He’s super affectionate with his peeps but definitely requires a home who knows the breed and their typical behaviors. We also prefer an adult only home, however older teens will be considered depending on how breed savvy the home is. Our application is on our website at www.kodisclub.org. We ask that you submit your application to help us determine if he’s a match and therefore need to receive it prior to responding to questions. Thank you!
