Well, I was standing on a corner, In Memphis, Tennessee. Such a fine place to be. It’s a girl, my Lord, In a white non-Ford, Slowin’ down to take a pic of me! Take it easy, take it easy. Don’t let the wind beneath my wheels, drive you crazy! Snatch me up while you still can, Don’t even try to understand. Just know your here in Moose Land, And take it easy!

Meet Moose! He is quite the catch in the small dog world! He was found as a stray in Memphis TN and was adopted from one of our partner shelters. Unfortunately, his adopter could no longer care for him, so she surrendered him to rescue. He came right into his foster home and made friends immediately. He does have a mighty personality at times and will let an overly exuberant dog know to chill! He has been known to be the referee and the hall monitor, but no one takes exception to his antics. His best friend is Ruby, a fun, energetic beagle in his foster home. He loves to play cat and mouse and dreams of snuggle time in the blankets by a cozy fire. He is playful, bouncy, energetic, curious, well mannered and quite simply adorable. He loves attention, playing with toys, and loves meeting new people. He is crate trained, house trained and walks very well on a leash. He loves to go for rides in the car, especially if it’s to the pet store (aka the Land of Oz). He loves being outside, especially with friends and a basket of toys!

Dogs: Yes, fostering with other dogs of various sizes, genders and breeds
Cats: Yes, he passed his initial cat test, but we recommend proper introductions and slow integration.
Other Small Animals: Unknown
Children: Yes, he has met middle age children and has done well. He has not been tested with infants or toddlers and proper supervision would be required.


ADOPTION INFORMATION:
We are a foster-based animal rescue and we thank you for your interest in one of our animals. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need.
