Meet Moose!

Moose is an 11 month old Lhasa Apso, weighs about 20 pounds and has a long coat that will require frequent grooming. He is social, playful and extremely affectionate.

Moose is people and dog friendly but has significant resource guarding issues so he should be the only dog in the house. Moose is happy to rest and look out the window for long periods of time if he’s near one of his people and would be a good companion dog for someone who works from home.

Moose is intelligent and food motivated and easy to train. True to breed, he can sometimes be stubborn! He has a medium energy level and would benefit from a daily walk. He can be stubborn in his attempts to be in charge of his environment (deciding when it’s time to get up, whether he is allowed on the couch, etc.) and would benefit from owners with experience with dog training.
