Mooey Poodle Mix Itasca, IL

Hello! If ever there was a cuter, more perky little Poodle, I don’t know who that would be. I’m Mooey and you will be hooked with one look at my curly white hair and adorable floppy ears. I am about 7 years old, and 14 pounds of love and fun all rolled into one. But best of all: I could be your new best furry friend because I am available for adoption! My foster mom at Fetching Tails Foundation calls me a Velcro dog because I am always near her or my Dad’s side. Dad is home most of the time and I really like that. It means that someone is always there to give me a pet or the snuggle that I really love. Did I mention that I love to play with my tennis ball? I’m also good with the other resident pets including the cat. Sometimes she surprises me and I bark at her a bit, but then I remember who she is and we just chill together.

I used to live with children and other dogs, but my previous family had to move and the new family members did not want me to come with them so I ended up in the scary shelter. I wasn’t there long, however, because Fetching Tails took one look at me and knew they could find me the perfect home! I still search for my family and miss them, but I really love my foster family as well. I bond quickly with whoever will give me a little love and attention. I don’t ask for much except you! And I am a great age: I am past the puppy stage, but I still have lots of fun and cuddles to give. I’m still kind of working on my potty training, so I would do best with someone being home most of the time to show me the ropes. I have been in a crate, but I don’t like it very much. I have great house manners anyway, so it’s not really needed. I pretty much curl up, relax and watch for your return, which will always make me HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY (and you, too, since I will bring a smile to your face with my excitement to see you!) I also love going for walks and I’m good on-leash. What more could you possibly want in a friend?

*ADOPTION FEE: $250
*Be at least 21 years of age
*Live in a 50-mile radius of Itasca, within the Illinois border
*Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household
*Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)
*Have a valid ID with current address (please provide proof of address if ID address is not up-to-date)
*Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation
*Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
