Meet Moo
At 35 lbs, I’m small and compact, but I love being active and going on walks. My favorite activities include fetching, pretending to be a small boulder in the middle of the living room, napping in sunbeams, and begging for treats.
I absolutely love obsessing over balls, smothering humans, food, and chewing on bones.
I really dislike being told I’m “too heavy” to sit on your chest while you’re trying to nap, and I really don’t like getting my nails clipped.
My special skills are:
• Ignoring personal space boundaries — I will sit on you, lay on you, and lean into you until you accept that your body is now my body. You will love me.
• I have the perfect “squishy face”.
• I’m a pro at finding the most inconvenient spot to lie down so you have to step over me.
• I’m a perfect little spoon.
• I’m a cute snorer (better than a kitten’s purr).
• Expert-level in “sitting” — I'm really good at just sitting. Like, really good.
Fun Fact: My fur color is called Lilac Tri Merle, a rare and very desirable marking for dogs. Google it! I’m also the fastest fetcher at any dog park I go to. I’ll surprise everyone with how fast I am, and you’ll be praised for how athletic I look. We’ll look really cool together.
**Read below if you want to hear my story of overcoming adversity and coming out as a champion.
I was raised for breeding by some really bad people in the desert of California. Due to their neglect, around 6 months old, I contracted parvo and was thrown out at a known dumping ground while pregnant — likely to avoid infecting other dogs.
CCAR found me very sick, wandering the desert, and saved my life. I needed multiple procedures and surgeries to survive parvo, the loss of all my 8 puppies, sepsis, mastitis — you name it. But after a lot of love and care from my foster family and rescue foundation, I’m 100% healthy and ready to love the SH**T out of you.
My best life started a little late, but I’m living it up now!
