Moo is a very sweet puppy that came to us a stray. We are unsure of his breed so this is our best guess! The ideal home for Moo will have another dog for him to spend time with. He loves to be with people and hates to be left alone. Moo can't wait to meet you and begin the rest of his life with someone to show him the ropes of being a pet.

We are estimating a birth date around May 1. We fully expect him to grow into a large dog so it is important to begin his training as soon as possible.

We often adopt same day as the first visit an interview but it is not guaranteed. Some dogs will take multiple visits and adopters are approved based on the best fit for the particular animal being considered. We do not hold pets during the process.

Most dogs who come from the shelter will not be house trained.

Most adoptable dogs will need some reintroduction into a home, potty training, basic manners and social skills. Please be prepared to provide that training and dedication that will be needed.

We do not have any way of knowing if a dog or cat will do well with all children or all other animals.

It is important everyone in the home is introduced to the new pet.

We also require that any family dogs come into meet your potential adoptee. Please be sure your dogs are spayed or neutered and current on vaccines (distemper - parvo and rabies) before bringing them to the shelter.

All dogs must be transported home in a travel crate to transport your new pup home safely.


Renters must provide a copy of a lease indicating pets are allowed or contact information for the landlord.
