Adorable and sweet Monty came all the way from Kuwait to be your little man and find his happily ever after! <br/><br/>Monty is a survivor and such a resilient and strong boy – he was rescued from a a dumpster along with his mom and brother, and survived horrible parvo as a very young pup. Today he is thriving! <br/><br/>Monty is incredibly handsome, super cute, and oh so sweet, and is here now to be your super star Saluki Golden Retriever Mix! Monty is 2 years old and is a slender little boy who has maintained his gorgeous puppy dog face and eyes – you will truly melt in his presence! <br/><br/>Monty is a very sweet soul who is looking for a calm home, and ideally with a big yard for him to run and play in. He currently lives with two young children who he loves dearly, but would thrive better in a quiet home where he gets more attention. He loves to snuggle , belly rubs and lots of treats. He is a gentle and very kind boy, and has so much love to give. He loves giving his foster family hugs, sweet kisses (not too much, just right) and will literally crawl into your lap to watch TV or read a book.<br/><br/>He is a fast learner, and has learned how to walk like a little pro on a lead, but is still shy and slightly fearful on the streets with loud noises – each day his confidence continues to grow, and will do so even more with your utmost attention. He has been prancing around with that gorgeous Saluki curly tail, continuing to give people on the street pause to smile and comment how gorgeous he is. Monty is a very smart boy, and is both food and play motivated. <br/><br/>Monty can be shy with new people at first, but opens up quickly (he is such a gentle boy!). Monty would thrive in a quieter home where he can be either an only dog or he would also do great having a dog friend as his pack leader to help show him the ropes. We are certainly looking for a person or family that will spoil Monty with love and affection. <br/><br/>Monty is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and has a fancy passport to prove it.
