Meet Monk

Meet Monk.

Poor Monk is being returned for no fault of his own. His owner’s mother has fallen critically ill and he needs to move to the city to take care of her. Monk is a very active dog that won’t do well in the city, so we are looking for a home that could fulfill his needs. Everyone involved is heartbroken and devastated.

Monk is a very tall pup, about 1 year young, 65 pounds, and likely a German Shepherd/Hound mix. He loves all people (of all ages) and dogs but is too much energy for cats. No apartments for him because of his energy level and tendency to be vocal.

Monk is extremely happy-go-lucky, quirky, carefree, and active, always wanting to run, swim, go on car rides, play, and explore the great outdoors. He is an excellent running or hiking companion, and his dream home would have a large yard for him to put to use. He is unconditionally sweet and the most loyal friend anyone could ask for.

Monk needs YOUR help finding a home. He can’t do it alone. Please share his plea.
