Meet Monique
Hi! My name is Monique and I'm a spunky little girl. Just six months old and only 30 pounds. I was super scared in the shelter, but now that I'm in a foster home, I'm loving life again! I love the people here, and I get along with their two dogs too...but it's the people I really love. I've explored every bit of their house and found lots of chew toys which I really like.
They also let me jump up on the sofa and their bed, which is fun. I sleep really well in the crate all night next to their bed and am also okay spending some time in the crate to get some rest for a while during the day. I also like to run around the yard.
I'm still a little nervous walking around the neighborhood on a leash, but I'm super curious to learn what's out there. They tell me I need to do a little better on my potty training, so I'm working on that. Mostly I just want to follow the people around the house, hang out in whatever room they're in, and chew on my antler or take a nap. I really hope to find a forever home soon with some friendly people who will want me around all the time!
Monique is currently in the Adoption Ambassador foster program. Foster families take dogs that are available for adoption into their homes and try to get them adopted.
