Meet Monica
Monica - Border Collie/Lab mix - Female - 1 Year - www.twyla.org
If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org
Meet Monica: This sweet and relaxed female 1-year-old Border Collie Lab mix came to with her siblings Rachel and Chandler after being abandoned together. She LOVES attention, is very smart, learns quickly, will sit nicely for treats and has displayed excellent doggy social skills meaning she gets along with just about any dog. She is pretty calm and relaxed and sits or lays down anywhere she goes within a short time. She is great with kids, fine with cats. She is crate and house trained, and walks well on leash Monica is a little sneaky and will find unsecured garbage cans quickly and quietly, presumably still a remnant of how she survived abandonment.
With a little patience and consistence she will be great family dog and potentially a good fit for first time dog owners. She is content to simply be close to her humans and has moderate exercise requirements.
***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
