Molly's Story
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MEET OUR PETS.

Meet Molly!

Molly is a beautiful Standard Poodle—or possibly a mix (her paperwork says “Doodle”)—who has had quite a journey. She was originally a breeder dog kept in poor conditions until a kind person rescued her simply to get her out of that situation.

She’s estimated to be about 8 years old and weighs 42 pounds.

Unfortunately, the family who rescued her soon realized their own health concerns made it difficult to give Molly the care and attention she deserved. They tried rehoming her through Craigslist, but the next person who took her in quickly found they could not afford the cost of proper grooming or veterinary care.

When Molly came to us, she was a matted mess with severely overgrown hair/nails and overdue vaccinations. After a fresh start—complete grooming, updated vaccines, and a dental cleaning with several extractions—she’s feeling so much better and looking beautiful again!

Molly is now ready for her true forever home—a family that can give her the time, love, and consistent care she deserves.

She has a calm, gentle personality and simply loves to be wherever you are.

Her foster mom says Molly is PERFECT and thinks she could be trained and certified to be a therapy dog if her new family wanted that.

She gets excited for walks and car rides and enjoys going places. She walks very nicely on a loose leash with minimal pulling and seems more comfortable in new situations every day.

She LOVES going for long hikes in the woods on trails and is up for pretty much any hiking adventure. Molly is well mannered and quiet on walks, not barking at squirrels, other dogs, etc.

Molly does well with other friendly dogs of all sizes (though she hasn’t been around any her own size or larger). She can be a bit shy or nervous if another dog barks at her but otherwise gets along great.

Her ideal home would have a fenced yard and, even more importantly, an active family who enjoys taking her on nice walks and little adventures.

Molly recently joined her foster mom at the office and proved to be a wonderfully sociable, well-mannered companion. We’ll share more as we get to know her better—but we already know this sweet girl is truly special.

We will make it our priority to find Molly the very best home—one that meets her needs and gives her the safe, loving life she deserves.

Adoption donation $500

Please note that we do not ship animals. We also require a home visit before finalizing any adoptions so preference is given to applicants within a 90 mile range. You will be required to come to High Point, NC to meet/pick up your new pet.

HOW TO APPLY:
1. Go to www.lppnc.org
2. Click on the "Adoption Application" link on the left side of the page.
3. The application will open as a PDF and you should have the ability to fill it in from that page.
