Meet Molly

I’m Molly. I am such a clever and curious pup! My eyes are always on you when you’re training me. I love learning new commands and am very agile.
I know sit. I am working on wait, come and stay. I kind of know my name I know that with a little more time, I’ll learn that all and more!! I learned how to use the dog bells to come inside in about one day! I will also use it to go outside if I’m not noticed by the door. I will also let you know if I need to go outside if we’re not by the dog bell. I only have accidents if left too long or am not heard, which hasn’t been for quite some time. I also learned quickly to sit when I come in if you say: feet! So that my paws can be dried.
I wait patiently for my food. Although, I’m still learning about personal space when you’re eating. I can sit patiently sometimes, but be prepared for my puppy eyes and occasionally whine to notice me – I’m so cute you’ll have to have a strong will to resist sharing.
I am a little shy for about 20 seconds before I start showing you my love – you don’t even need treats to be my friend. Although it helps to warm me up in 1 second if you do! Everyone I’ve met, I’ve liked. I am working on not jumping into their face and arms to show them how much. I have been around a small child (5yo) and do well with him – I am working on not jumping and puppy playing (mouthing) with him. I am glad that he is patient with me. I snuggle him when we sleep or nap, or watch TV on the couch together. His dog is my BFF, (even if she doesn’t know it) and we’ve play well together, she’s patient with my puppy play. If she’s outside, then I want to be too! She lives next door and we run up and down the fence together.
I am able to get up onto the couch and bed (I’m allowed here). I can go up and down stairs. I love going on walks. I don’t pull too much unless I’m walking with another dog. I was a big sister so I like to lead the way. I’ll also cry if another dog is crying. I want to be friends with them too. Although I only really know puppy play right now – I do have some toys to chew. I am figuring out what are toys for chewing and what isn’t. My foster thinks that when I’m ready, I’ll learn fetch, tug, chase, and…the sky’s the limit. I’m eager to please, food and praise motivated, and hate being bored.
I have slept in a crate all night. But, I currently sleep now with my foster. I whine a bit before settling down, but once I know it’s bedtime and not playtime – I stop. I don’t have accidents in the night – I will wake you with kisses and nudges, and if that doesn’t work, then I’ll go to the door and notify you it’s time – let’s get going! I’m also getting better and better as I get bigger at sleeping for longer periods of time between bathroom breaks.

Adoption fee is $495 (200 is refunded upon proof of spay). She is microchipped, dewormed, current on vaccines and has received a wellness exam.
