Molly Retriever & Border Collie Mix Rochester, NY

Requirements: Physically fenced in yard for her to safely play in and live in Rochester NY area.

To the best of our knowledge Molly is a Boarder Collie/Retriever mix. She is a year and a half old and she is about 50lbs.
Molly is a beautiful, sweet, soft, happy girl!! (I hope her smile and happy personality shows in her pictures!!)
She is house-trained and knows her basic commands. She is very smart and picked up our household routine quickly. She is fostered with canine friends and gets along great with them. We are not sure how She is with children or cats. Molly would do best in an active environment as she is an active, playful girl. (by active I mean she enjoys engaging with her humans and canine companions as well as her toys).
Molly LOVES romping and chasing her friends in the snow! Sometimes she will just sit outside with snow falling on her just taking everything in. (she also likes finding toys that got buried in the snow and is proud of herself to find them).
She is crate trained, (but is rarely in it). She sleeps through the night and loves to snuggle next to a warm body.
If you are looking for a sweet, active, smart, playful, happy, loving dog - Molly is your girl!!
She will be going to his adoptive home under a foster to adopt contract until her spay is complete. You would be required to get her into our vet clinic once booked for 7:30 am in Rochester and then pick up (3 to 4 pm) from rescue to finalize adoption at that time. For this reason we will not adopt to anyone outside our immediate adoption area. All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
