Meet Mojo

Mojo is the smallest of 7 foster puppies born to a stray mama dog (Brownie Dream) who befriended a teacher in Ganado, on the Navajo Nation. This mama was likely abandoned but found love and care. She dug a tunnel and had pups right outside the teacher's house, supposedly on November 16. This mama and pups are healthy and happy.

Mojo and her sister Kava are both a bit smaller than others, with soft and shorter fur. Mojo is probably most active, playful, friendly, and curios. She weighed 8.0 pounds at 7 weeks. We believe she will be 40-50 pounds when fully grown. It is hard to tell with rez dogs about their genetic make up. Mojo will do best in a home with very active people, a yard, those experienced with raising an active pup. Like any pup, Mojo loves to chew and play. Mojo's mom is a sweet, friendly, affectionate rez dog so all the pups are sweet and already snuggle well.

Mojo is being fostered in Ganado, AZ, and will be available after her second puppy vaccination scheduled for January 17, MLK Day.

Are you the right family for this shrimp that will immediately steal your heart? Fill out an online Adoption Application on the web site blackhathumanesociety.org. and email her foster mom Tiasha (tveselames@gmail.com) and tell a bit about yourself, your housing, lifestyle and what you are looking for in a dog.
(The brown adult dog is mama Brownie Dream, along with her "finder" and sister Ichi.)
