Mogwa Jindo & Spitz Mix Long Island City, NY

Mogwa’s excited to be adopted! This smiley boy’s a Jindo/Spitz mix that’s 4 years old and weighs about 26 pounds. Mogwa’s still adjusting to this new chapter of his life, but we’re happy to see his progress so far! Once he’s comfortable, he’s known for being sweet, affectionate, calm, gentle, and sensitive. He likes getting belly rubs and lots of pets from his foster! While Mogwa hasn’t found an interest in toys yet, he is starting to enjoy bully sticks. He gets along well with his foster brother (dog) and seems to like the company of patient, calm dogs. He’s also doing amazing with crate training and potty training! Mogwa would do best with a patient adopter that can help him build more confidence outdoors and around strangers. He’d love to find his perfect match that he can open up to! Apply to adopt!?

Meet our adoptable pups! Come to our in-person Livestream event on Saturday, April 24th @ Mika Café in Bushwick (25 Thames St, Brooklyn). This event will be held at the outdoor event space from 11:30 am – 3 pm. This will be an opportunity where you can meet the dogs in person and learn more about them. REQUIRED

In compliance with NYC Covid-19 Phase 4 re-opening (www1.nyc.gov/), please show proof of Covid Vax or Negative Covid test within the last 3 days. It is required to meet the dogs upon entry. Our staff and volunteers will also meet the requirements.

Our adoption radius is now within 30 miles of the following locations: NYC, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Western & Eastern CT. You must be able to pick up the dog at our office in Astoria, Queens (no exceptions). You must wear a mask and practice safe social distancing when traveling and picking up the dog.
